Multi Packaging Solutions Celebrates Earth Day with its Debut of Environmental Solutions

New York, NY – In conjunction with the upcoming 37th anniversary of Earth Day, Multi Packaging Solutions launches its green product line of earth-friendly print and packaging and announces its intention to certify all manufacturing facilities to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards for sustainable forestry. 

The green product line includes print, packaging and material options that reduce material usage, eliminate plastic, and incorporate up to 100% post-consumer waste.  It was developed specifically in response to growing customer interest in earth-friendly print and packaging that sustains style and functionality. 

Complementing the green product line is Multi Packaging Solution’s portfolio of earth-friendly technologies, which includes biodegradable soy-based inks and matte aqueous coatings that are less toxic than traditional UV coatings.  The company is also a leader in Digital Printing, a printing process which improves air quality by reducing VOC emissions. 

Furthering the company’s commitment to the environment is FSC certification to ensure manufacturing practices meet international standards for environmental stewardship.  FSC certification represents a promise to customers that the products produced by Multi Packaging Solutions come from sustainably managed forests.  The company expects to receive certification for its Holland, Michigan, facility by the end of March.  Certification for its other facilities is scheduled for later this year.
