MPS and Nexpak Announce Launch of FlipTray for DVD Packaging

June 28, 2007 (New York, NY) — Multi Packaging Solutions and Nexpak, both leaders in entertainment packaging have combined efforts to market the FlipTray system, which consists of a new plastic tray design that can hold two or three discs per tray.

The FlipTray was developed by Nexpak to address the need for multiple disc packaging for a wide range of applications including music, home entertainment, software, and games. Its unique pivoting tray design has aligned hubs to maximize interior paper cover graphics. Discs are individually displayed for full visibility and easy access while maintaining a slim profile. The FlipTray provides flexible multiple disc packaging using two, three or four trays for a maximum of 12 discs per set. With up to three discs per tray on one paper panel, the FLIPtray meets the mandates to reduce packaging going into retail. It is available in crystal-clear or black styrene and it is fully recyclable.
