William (Bill) Hogan joined Multi Packaging Solutions in February 2006 as EVP and Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him 25 years’ experience serving the print and packaging industry. Bill started his career in finance at Deloitte & Touche, where he worked for 13 years serving a variety of clients in the print and packaging industry. Bill left Deloitte & Touche in 1995 to accept a finance leadership role at one of his clients, Shorewood Packaging. During his tenure at Shorewood, where he served as CFO from 2000-2001, Bill was responsible for the world-wide management of the finance and information system functions as well as business strategy and planning, including the establishment of a packaging business in China and the acquisition and integration of numerous specialty packaging businesses. After Shorewood’s acquisition by International Paper, Bill continued working as CFO of International Paper’s European Operations from 2001 to 2004. In this role, Bill spent extensive periods of time addressing business issues throughout both Western and Eastern Europe. He returned to the United States and joined Computer Associates International as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Internal Control Officer. Shortly thereafter, Marc Shore asked Bill to join him and Dennis Kaltman in creating a new world class specialty packaging company. Bill is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo.
